Welcome to Southbound Fishing Charters, based in beautiful Corpus Christi, Texas. Owned and operated by lifetime local, Captain Pierre Petrila. I target Speckled Trout, Redfish, Black Drum and Flounder on light tackle. I also offer summertime offshore fishing adventures in the Gulf of Mexico targeting Snapper, Shark, Kingfish, Ling (Cobia), Mahi-Mahi, Tripletail and more. We provide fishing adventures for all levels of anglers, from beginner to the most experienced. Children and families are always welcome. Multi-boat and corporate trips also available. We can customize your adventure!
ABOUT YOUR CAPTAIN
Captain Pierre Petrila is a full time professional saltwater fishing guide. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, he has spent the majority of his life fishing the Coastal Bend waters for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder and Black Drum. His primary fishing areas include the Upper Laguna Madre, Baffin Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. He takes pride in having fun, catching fish and is committed to sharing his passion and knowledge of the outdoors. ABOUT THE BOAT
Captain Petrila runs a 2016 Majek Xtreme 25+. Hand built in Corpus Christi, it is specifically designed for fishing the shallow waters of the Coastal Bend. It is a stable, dry and safe boat, equipped with the latest safety and fishing accessories, including VHF radio, GPS locator beacon, GPS navigation, I-pilot trolling motor and two Power Poles. The boat is powered by a 2022 300HP Suzuki 4-stroke outboard and can accommodate up to five clients (plus the captain). Multiple boat charters also available.
